Robyn is a Swedish electropop artist that I love love love! She’s one of the artists that I go to for fun and expressive music. Robyn is currently on tour with Katy Perry, but she found some time to do her own version of one of my favorite Coldplay songs “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall”. Here is her version of “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall”.
I’m a big supporter and lover of Grace Jones so I was happy to hear this new track “Williams Blood” remixed by Aeroplane. Check out the track and the free download below! Enjoy the snack* And check out more Grace Jones Music
I recently fell in love with the track “Iron” by Woodkid. I love the mix of the horns and drums, they create the unique theatrical sound in the music. “Iron” makes me feel like i am on an adventure to a place with ancient history and great architecture. It paints this picture of an exotic journey or trip to a place out of the ordinary. “Iron” has a very strong personality and sound, and it inspired these six items from Urban Outfitters. I’m loving the pointy and sharp edges on the earrings and necklace, the gold finish, the vintage bag and the tortoiseshell watch. I think each of these items would be great statement pieces on their own, and they are affordable. I’m definitely loving each of these Urban Outfitters items!

There are a ton of music festivals going on this summer, and I think its dope that some of these festivals are incorporating brands and style into the festival line up. There is a very natural relationship between music and style, and I don’t think one can live without the other. Apart from blogging for Let Them Eat Music, I also blog for Kmart’s style blog: Stylesip.
I come up with great outfits for their brands: Bongo Jeans, Dream Out Loud, Glo and Rebecca Bon Bon. Their brands are mostly geared toward teens/young adults, and I create different styles inspired by themes and the clothing. For a recent post, I did an outfit for a music festival: My Music Festival Go To Look! using Dream Out Loud & Bongo brands. Check out the full post on Stylesip! Speaking of music festivals, Ive been listening to Ratatat lately, and they will be performing on July 13th at the Central Park Summer Stage in New York. Tickets are still available, but until then check out their newest single “neckbrace”
